The @PORT Internet 2-way satellite requires no cell phones or phone land lines to connect to the Internet. If you can see the Southern Sky, you have Broadband Internet Speeds. This is the first affordable dish manufactured that will allow boats, oil rigs or any other mobile platform to achieve broadband speeds no matter where they are docked within the footprint of the satellite.
Fast Speeds
The @PORT achieves download speed of 400kbps and higher. Download a 1 MegaByte file in about 10 seconds. Upload speeds are between 30 to 90Kbps. About twice to three times as fast as a 56K modem.
Safety Features
If you forget to stow the dish and you begin to move from port, the @PORT knows this by looking at GPS and will stow the dish automatically. Also, if the vessel rocks too much, such as from wind or wake, the dish will stow automatically.
